We are currently seeking Project Manager (contractor) to join us to Service a Financial Services Client In San Juan, PR. The Project should initially last 2 months with the opportunity to extend itself for a full year.
Responsibilities:
• Assign resources to project; monitor and track progress for an individual project engagement
• Participate with Director, Client Delivery and Client with the creation of user acceptance criteria
• Set realistic task objectives and tracks actual effort to estimated effort to determine variances in project plan
• Manage client expectations and communicate project status to the client and the Director, Client Delivery
• Enter data into Portfolio Management on a daily or weekly basis
• Develop new business within the project and identifies new business elsewhere in the client environment
• Manage and update task objectives and performance against plan helping to ensure that project commitments are met as specified in client contract
• Manage project budget to revenue, cost, and profit targets
• Manage plan variances either through risk or change control process
• Identify additional business opportunities within project scope or for future engagements.
• Provide estimates for project tasks
• Assist with preparation of statement of work and participates in delivery quality assurance review
• Help to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures
• Establish quality initiatives for the engagement, enforces standards, and defined and repeatable processes
Qualifications:
• Three years managing medium to large projects or consulting engagement
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university is preferred or equivalent experience with Project Management Institute certification
• PMP Certification or equivalent
